Well I am on dial up and it takes longer than 90 seconds to load that page. Cut out timer???? Dumb idea do they think everybody has dsl?

Anyway according to Sporlan the equalizer line should be downstream of the thermostatic expansion valve bulb.

I looked at the answer for you, took 4 seconds (cable) Rolling Eyes

The answer is, you can install it anywhere the suction pressure will be essentially the same as the location of the bulb. (upstream or down stream) Changes in design of the TXV make leakage through the push rods nearly impossible.

Thanks Jim - Gary, I put the file in the Archives for you, no time outs - here's the link, may need your Archive credentials to retrieve it.

I have several Walk-in boxes, that are of the constant temperature type. the compressors run all day every day, all year.

the external equalizer is in the hot gas line. the reason for this is when the hot gas comes through to the coil the increase in hot gas line pressure on to the equalizer line closes the TXV. and aloows for tight temp control of the fixture.

just another avenue.
