I was at at one of the places here that I have a Digicool test unit last week. It is one of the best mobile a/c manufacturing places here. I was watching a young kid and the analog gauge he was using had a gauge lens missing and the hoses were near as old as Lockhart. I asked him about how accurate they were and he looked like Bambi in the headlights. He said he could never imagine spending more than $100.00 on a gauge set and thought that his gauge was close enough for what he does.
The owner so far is impressed with the Digicool and hopefully will be getting some. Did not have much of an answer for his emplyee though!!

Doug your a hoot.

My wife has at time uttered the words "how much did we pay for that". I dont know bout the we part, and she never minds the amount of $$$$$ I make. I make my living with my knowledge and tools, the faster and more accurate I am reflects directly in my PAY and those are the facts. I also love the look on her face when she see's my pay check after a 75-90 hour week. If I didnt have those "G DAMN expensive tools " I might have had to work a 100 hours and not seen her all month Mr. Green

Damn, if my wife thought it would have kept me out of the house longer I'd still be wearing a wind up pocket watch, although I do find it funny when they refer to it as their money(her paycheck) and our money(his paycheck).

Dude that would be funny if it weren't so sad. And the even sadder part is the techs that have multiple years of experience doing the same thing - I've seen rigs exactly like the one you described. These guys will spend hundreds on DMM's, CAA's and use a busted analog that was inaccurate the day it was boxed at the factory and contend it gets them "close enough".

Sorry guys, this has not gone out yet, the temps went into the high 70's this week and we got slammed, I have not gotten off of work before the UPS shipping depot closed.

They are boxed up in the truck, I am going to get there tomorrow morning as it is supposed to rain.

I will send both of you the tracking # when it goes out.

BTW, I HATE my ANALOGS now! This field test thing can be bad for the pocketbook Mr. Green

Eric have you sent these out yet???????????????????????????????????/???
